A proud University of Oregon graduate ('13), Katie moved to Bend soon after, where her passion for the great outdoors truly flourished. Growing up camping, fishing, and backpacking, she didn’t discover the world of skiing, biking, and water sports until her 20s — but when she did, it was love at first ride. That spark ignited a dedicated career in operations and management within the outdoor industry, where she has spent nearly a decade building expertise in gear, service-based operations, and leadership.

Katie is deeply motivated to bring more women and inclusivity into the outdoor space and to help shape the dynamic future of outdoor sports. Now, as a married parent of two toddlers and two dogs, she enjoys exploring Bend’s vibrant outdoor lifestyle with her family. With a passion for both personal and professional growth, Katie is excited to contribute to the future of outdoor recreation in Oregon through her role with OOA.
